A year in birthday cakes - 2017 review

In 2017, our wonderful volunteers made 126 birthday cakes for children in the city. Our busiest month was March, where we made 15 cakes!

The Sheffield Food Festival team kindly gave us the opportunity to be involved in the celebrations over the May Bank Holiday weekend. We held a children’s baking workshop in the Theatre Kitchen Marquee, had a very popular stall in the Peace Gardens and hosted a cake and merchandise stall in the Winter Gardens. Many thanks to everyone who donated - our activities raised £220.

Finally, we'd like to thank supporters of Free Cakes for Kids Sheffield who donated an incredible £456 to us directly via LocalGiving. A huge thank you for your very generous support.
